Where the numbers come from
Our scraper regularly reads the public web pages of ReelShort and DramaBox: their official top shelves, new-release shelves and each series page. It records titles, episode counts, tags and the view counts the apps publish. We have 336 series on file, with snapshots from Sep 10, 2026 to Sep 11, 2026.
The trending chart is built from those snapshots: a title's score is how many views it gained between two of our snapshots. Nobody pays to appear on it.
What we check by hand
Free-episode counts, coin costs, cast and character names, source novels and season-two news are only published after someone on our team confirms them in the app or from an official source. Until then those details are left off the page rather than guessed. Every "checked" or "verified" date you see is the date that check happened.
What we don't do
We don't host, embed or link to episodes, and we don't list modded apps, coin generators or pirate sites. Series summaries are written by us; we don't copy the apps' own descriptions.
How we make money
Some of our "Watch on" links earn us a commission. How we make money explains what that does and doesn't change.
