What Back to the 80s is about
Julie Stein goes to sleep one night and wakes up in the 1980s, a long way from the time she knows. Her situation there is grim. She is the daughter a wealthy family has cast out, and she isn't even related to them by blood.
The family has also arranged for her to stand in for their real daughter and marry an older man who already has two children. Julie has to deal with a life she never chose, in an era that is new to her, and she has no intention of going along with it.
