What She Raised Their Blood, She Planned Their Fall is about
Vivian Sloan is eight months pregnant when she overhears a conversation between her husband, who married into her family and lives in her home, and the poor student whose education she has been paying for. From it she learns that the baby she is carrying came from their fertilized egg.
