In week 40 of 2026 (Sep 28 to Oct 4, 2026), the 25 fastest-rising short dramas we track gained 111M views between them. Love Is A Dangerous Game led with +24M on DramaBox, ahead of Forbidden Fling With My Bestie's Dad (+21M) and Poisoned by His Love (+16M).
By app, the 25 places split ReelShort 16, DramaBox 9. 3 of them were released during the week or the week before, led by Love Is A Dangerous Game.
Compared with week 39, 20 of the 25 titles are new to the chart, the highest of them Love Is A Dangerous Game at number 1. The biggest climber was My X-Ray Vision Sees Right Through You, up from number 24 to number 12.
The most common tropes on this week's chart were billionaire romance (13), contract marriage (10), and hidden identity (8).
Views gained is each series' view counter on Sunday Oct 4, 2026 minus the same counter on Sunday Sep 27, 2026, from our own snapshots of the apps' public pages (a day earlier where a scrape missed the Sunday). A title needs a snapshot at both ends of the week to be ranked. View counters come from each app and are not audited by us.
