GoodShort’s free rewards come from inside the app: a daily check-in and watching ads for bonus coins. Neither pays much, so plan to combine free rewards with the free episodes at the start of each series. Any site offering free or unlimited GoodShort coins from outside the app is a scam.
Legit ways to earn free GoodShort coins
Daily check-in
GoodShort’s Google Play listing names daily check-in rewards as a feature and ties them to its VIP program, saying the check-in earns points that extend VIP benefits. It doesn’t say what the check-in pays, and App Store reviewers quote figures far enough apart that no single number is worth printing. Open the app each day, claim it from the rewards area, and read what your own account gets.
Watch ads for bonus coins
GoodShort’s own store listings don’t mention rewarded ads, but App Store reviewers describe them consistently: a daily allowance of ads that unlock episodes, plus smaller ad rewards that pay coins. They also say it takes a lot of ads to earn a meaningful amount, and several report bonus coins being spent on episodes they had already watched. The numbers reviewers quote don’t agree with each other, so we’re not publishing a rate. Check the rewards screen for what your account gets, and watch your balance after each unlock so you notice if coins go to a repeat episode. (App Store reviews, US storefront.)
Use the free episodes
Series on GoodShort start with free episodes before the paywall. Watch those first and only put coins into stories you know you want to finish. It’s the one step on this page that costs nothing and takes no extra time, and it tells you quickly whether a series has earned the ads or coins it will take to finish.
Follow the official channels, not copycats
GoodShort’s store listing links to official Facebook, YouTube and TikTok accounts and gives [email protected] as its support email. If a real promotion runs, it will come through the app or those official accounts. Promotions announced by unrelated websites or comment sections aren’t GoodShort’s.
What doesn’t work (scams)
“GoodShort coin generators,” modded APKs, unlimited-coin hacks and “free bonus” link pages are scams. Coins sit on GoodShort’s servers tied to your account, so no outside site can add them. These pages exist to collect logins and personal data, push survey spam, or get you to install tampered software that can compromise your phone and your account. Search results for GoodShort include this kind of page, so be careful what you tap. Our guide to whether short drama apps are safe explains what to watch for.
Cheapest way to finish a series
Bonus coins from ads and check-ins won’t take you far into a long series. The real choice is coins versus VIP.
Buy coins for the last few episodes. GoodShort’s US App Store listing shows coin packs at 500 coins for $4.99, 1,000 for $9.99, 1,500 for $14.99, 2,000 for $19.99 and 2,500 for $24.99. Those are US storefront prices; Apple charges different amounts in other countries. If you’re close to the end, a small pack plus whatever bonus coins you’ve earned is usually the cheaper option.
Take VIP for a binge. GoodShort’s Play listing says VIP lets you watch premium dramas free and without ads, download episodes for offline viewing, and watch in 1080p. The US App Store lists Weekly VIP at $5.99, $9.99 and $19.99, plus a $19.99 weekly subscription. If you have many locked episodes left, one week of VIP can undercut buying coins.
Then cancel on time. The Play listing says subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off 24 hours before the current period ends, and that there’s no mid-period cancellation. On Android, cancel from the Play Store under your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. GoodShort’s user agreement says payments are non-refundable except as its terms provide, and it doesn’t give partial refunds for cancelling mid-cycle.
GoodShort shows the coin price of every episode on its website, so the sum can be done. Across its 20 most-watched series a locked episode costs a median of 48 coins, about 48 cents, and finishing a series costs $23 to $38 in coins. Prices change from episode to episode, so add up the ones you have left and compare the total against a week of VIP. Our GoodShort review has the full breakdown.

FAQ
Can I get unlimited coins on GoodShort?
No. Anything promising unlimited coins is a scam. Free coins come only from the check-in and ad rewards inside the official app.
Does GoodShort VIP remove ads?
GoodShort’s Play listing says VIP members can watch premium dramas free and ad-free.
How do I cancel GoodShort VIP?
Cancel in the store you paid through. On Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and select GoodShort. Do it at least 24 hours before renewal.
Why did my bonus coins disappear?
Several App Store reviewers report bonus coins being used on episodes they’d already seen, and others say episodes they had unlocked were locked again later. We can’t verify what causes it. Check your balance after unlocking and contact GoodShort support at [email protected] if something looks wrong.
