How to Get Free Coins on ReelShort

Draft: our editor hasn't re-checked the facts on this page against the app yet.

You can earn free ReelShort coins inside the app by checking in daily, watching rewarded ads, finishing tasks and inviting friends. None of it is fast, and reward coins can expire, so use them soon after you earn them. Anything outside the app that promises free or unlimited coins is a scam.

Legit ways to earn free ReelShort coins

Daily check-in

Open the app and tap the check-in or rewards button, which ReelShort’s own guide says sits on the home screen or profile tab. The reward grows as your streak does. One ReelShort help article lists around 10 coins on the first two days of a streak, 25 on day five and 30 on day six, and says missing a single day sends you back to day one. Another ReelShort article describes a larger payout for completing a seven-day streak. The amounts vary by region and promotion, so treat those figures as a rough guide, but the lesson is the same: don’t break the streak.

Watch rewarded ads

This is the biggest free source. The App Store listing says you can unlock content by watching optional ads, and ReelShort’s help articles describe short ads that pay out coins, with a daily limit. Those articles don’t agree on the exact daily cap, which likely depends on your region and account, so check the rewards screen for your own limit. App Store reviewers say an ad occasionally fails to credit its reward, so if that happens, don’t keep feeding it more ads right away.

Complete tasks and events

ReelShort’s guides describe a Tasks or Events area with rotating jobs, such as watching designated episodes, sharing, or following ReelShort’s social accounts, plus limited-time events. Its own guide says those temporary events tend to pay the most, so check the tab every few days.

Invite friends

ReelShort’s help article describes a referral program. You share an invitation code from your profile, and the reward only pays once the new user completes certain actions, such as watching a number of episodes or making a first purchase. The same article warns that the payout can be delayed.

Use the free episodes first

Not coins, but still free. ReelShort’s pricing guide says the first few episodes of almost every series cost nothing. Watch those before spending anything, so you only put coins into stories you actually want to finish.

What doesn’t work (scams)

Sites and videos promising a “ReelShort coin generator,” a modded APK or unlimited coins are scams. Coins live in ReelShort’s systems tied to your account, and no outside website can add them. What these pages actually do is harvest your login, push malware or survey spam, or get you to install a tampered app. ReelShort’s own guide calls coin generators scams that carry real risks, including a permanent account ban. Stick to the rewards screen inside the official app. Our guide to whether short drama apps are safe covers the warning signs.

Cheapest way to finish a series

Free coins rarely cover a whole series, so at some point you’ll be choosing between coins and VIP.

Coins make sense when you’re close to the end. ReelShort’s coin guide says a standard episode usually costs 60 coins, and a 500-coin pack costs $4.99. If only a few locked episodes remain, topping up with your free coins and a small pack is usually the cheaper route. Larger packs include bonus coins, which lowers the per-coin price if you know you’ll use them.

VIP makes sense for a binge. ReelShort’s guides say VIP unlocks the rest of a series without spending coins and removes ads. If you have dozens of locked episodes left, or several series lined up, a single week of VIP can beat buying coins. The App Store notes the subscription renews automatically, with the charge coming within 24 hours before the next period, so cancel more than a day before it renews if you only wanted one week.

Spend reward coins first. Paid coins don’t expire according to ReelShort’s guide, but reward coins can. Burn the free ones before they disappear.

FAQ

Is there a ReelShort coin hack?

No. Coin generators, hacks and modded apps are scams. The only free coins come from the check-ins, ads, tasks and invites inside the official app.

Do free ReelShort coins expire?

Reward coins can. ReelShort’s own guides say free coins may come with a time limit, while purchased coins don’t expire. Check your wallet in the app for dates.

How many free coins can I earn a day?

It depends on your region, account and current events. ReelShort’s own help articles quote different daily limits for ads, so the rewards screen in your app is the only reliable number.

Can I watch a full ReelShort series for free?

It’s possible by stacking check-ins, ads and tasks, but it’s slow, and App Store reviewers describe daily caps that make you wait to continue.
