Open the app and tap the check-in or rewards button, which ReelShort’s own guide says sits on the home screen or profile tab. The reward grows as your streak does, and missing a single day sends you back to day one. ReelShort states both.

It does not publish a fixed schedule. Its free-coins article gives a sample progression of about 10 coins on each of the first two days, 25 on day five and 30 on day six, but presents that as what a user “might see” rather than a committed table, and says the amount varies by account, region and current promotion. A second ReelShort article puts a seven-day streak at “100+ coins.” Treat all of those as illustrations, not entitlements. The lesson is the same either way: don’t break the streak.

Watch rewarded ads

This is the biggest free source. ReelShort’s help articles describe short ads, 5 to 30 seconds by its own account, that pay out coins with a daily limit. Those articles don’t agree on what the limit is worth: its pricing guide says you can earn “up to 175” coins from ads, while its free-coins article describes 15 to 20 ads a day adding up to roughly 250.

ReelShort’s own FAQ says there is no fixed number and that it depends on your region, account and the day’s ad inventory, so the rewards screen in your app is the only figure that applies to you. Another ReelShort guide says one ad can unlock two premium episodes, which is a different mechanic from earning coins, so check which one your app is offering before you sit through a run of ads.

Complete tasks and events

ReelShort’s guides describe a Tasks or Events area with rotating jobs, such as watching designated episodes, sharing, or following ReelShort’s social accounts, plus limited-time events. Its own guide says those temporary events tend to pay the most, so check the tab every few days.

Invite friends

ReelShort’s help article describes a referral program. You share an invitation code from your profile, and the reward only pays once the new user completes certain actions, such as watching a number of episodes or making a first purchase. The same article warns that the payout can be delayed.

Use the free episodes first

Not coins, but still free. Almost every series opens with a run of free episodes, though ReelShort’s own pages disagree on how long it is: its pricing guide says 5 to 12 episodes, its coin guide says 8 to 13. Watch those before spending anything, so you only put coins into stories you actually want to finish.

What doesn’t work (scams)

Sites and videos promising a “ReelShort coin generator,” a modded APK or unlimited coins are scams. Coins live in ReelShort’s systems tied to your account, and no outside website can add them. What these pages actually do is harvest your login, push malware or survey spam, or get you to install a tampered app. ReelShort’s own guide calls coin generators scams that carry real risks, including a permanent account ban. Cheapest way to finish a series

Free coins rarely cover a whole series, so at some point you’ll be choosing between coins and VIP.

Coins make sense when you’re close to the end. ReelShort’s coin guide says a standard episode usually costs 60 coins, and a 500-coin pack costs $4.99, roughly 60 cents an episode. If only a few locked episodes remain, topping up with your free coins and a small pack is usually the cheaper route. Larger packs include bonus coins, which lowers the per-coin price if you know you’ll use them, but ReelShort’s own pages list different bonus amounts for the same price, and the coin guide says packs change by region and promotion. Read the store screen in your app rather than a published table.

VIP makes sense for a binge. ReelShort’s guides say VIP unlocks the rest of a series without spending coins and removes ads. If you have dozens of locked episodes left, or several series lined up, a single week of VIP can beat buying coins. The US App Store listing shows the subscription at $19.99, billed weekly and renewing automatically, with the charge coming within 24 hours before the next period. The same listing says the actual price varies by region. Cancel more than a day before it renews if you only wanted one week.

Either way, spend reward coins first. Paid coins don’t expire according to ReelShort’s guide, but reward coins can. Burn the free ones before they disappear.
