What The One I Never Forget is about
Five years ago, Sofia and Justin each lost people they loved in the same tragedy, and the loss drove them apart. Neither one ever really moved on.
When they meet again, the old grief is still there between them, along with feelings they never said out loud. A third person complicates things, and there are unanswered questions about what happened five years ago that neither of them can leave alone. Getting close again means facing the past that split them up in the first place.
